The Santa Barbara hotel and its restaurant, la Polveriera, are located on Montecatini Terme’s hill, surrounded by a lovely park with secular olive trees and large flowered rose bushes.

The gardens form grand terraces, were it is possible to lay down while enjoying a cocktail or quietly reading a book under the tree shade. The panorama is exceptionally beautiful as it overlooks the Val di Nievole valley, which at the sun set or sun rise (for the early-risers) it shows a red, pink, purple and gold painted sky.

Olive trees have always been cultivated in this vast park, secular and low trees that still today offer their exquisite fruits: olives.
We collect them at the beginning of autumn and we prepare the selected RP extra virgin olive oil, which you will be able to taste at our restaurant or at the breakfast buffets.
